About Sigma Prime

Sigma Prime is a specialist blockchain security and infrastructure firm founded in the early days of Ethereum.

For nearly a decade, we have worked at the intersection of security research, protocol engineering, and production infrastructure. Our team of researchers, developers, security engineers, and operators brings deep technical experience across smart contracts, offchain systems, blockchain infrastructure, and critical operational environments.

We work with leading teams across the ecosystem to secure complex systems before, during, and after launch. Where relationships continue over time, clients benefit from engineers who already understand their architecture, threat model, and development history, reducing ramp-up time and improving the depth of each subsequent engagement.

Beyond security audits, Sigma Prime also builds production Ethereum infrastructure. We are the creators of Lighthouse, one of Ethereum's leading consensus clients, and continue to invest in open-source infrastructure, research, and tooling that strengthens the broader ecosystem.

Mehdi Zerouali

Founder

Co-founder of Sigma Prime and one of the earliest security specialists to focus on Ethereum and decentralised systems. Mehdi earned his reputation auditing critical systems long before blockchain existed, bringing that same rigor to Ethereum in its earliest years. Today, he is best known for helping secure some of the industry's most important protocols and infrastructure, and for his ongoing contributions to broader ecosystem security initiatives, including Security Alliance (SEAL) and government regulatory discussions.
